The Mexican Hammock

The Mexican hammock's hundreds of thin threads give the body maximum support. Lying in a Mexican hammock is unbelievably relaxing and super comfortable.

Although thin threads are used, the chance of snapping is minimal due to the composition of the material used. A mix of nylon and a little bit of cotton makes for very strong and soft threads.

Rain shower? No problem

This Mexican hammock can happily withstand a rain shower. We always advise that you keep the Mexican hammock in a dry place when not in use.

Cooperation with Indian women cooperative

Although the name 'Mexican hammock' suggests otherwise, this hammock comes from India. Our Mexican hammocks are woven by dozens of women in a small village in the south of India. The weaving is a real handcraft. The hammocks are therefore woven by the women at home. It takes 2 to 3 days to weave one Mexican hammock.

Because the weaving is done at home, according to their own schedule, working hours are flexible and working conditions are better than in surrounding factories or in the fields. This way of working means it's possible to weave Mexican hammocks and at the same time take care of the children.

We are therefore proud to be able to work with this Indian women's cooperative! This Mexican hammock directly contributes to the prosperity and future of Indian families.

The 'Easy' hammock stand has a sleek and slim design. That makes this hammock stand very affordable, yet it is still sturdy, stable and safe.

Easy to assemble

The hammock stand is easy to assemble without tools. Screw in the four supplied screws by hand and you're ready to hang your hammock.

You can also easily adjust the 'Easy' with the supplied chains. This allows you to hang many different hammocks in it.

Thanks to the recently developed metal coating, this stand is resistant to all weather conditions.

The 'Easy' hammock stand comes in three different sizes.

'Easy' Single Hammock Stand
Suitable for all Tropilex single hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 290 - 340 cm. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg.

'Easy' Double Hammock Stand
Suitable for all Tropilex double hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 330 - 370 cm. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg.

'Easy' Family Hammock Stand
Suitable for all Tropilex family hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 360 - 400 cm. The maximum load capacity is 180 kg.
