More suspension cords

By using extra suspension cords, our Colombian hammocks spread open more easily. The weight is also better distributed over the cords, resulting in optimal comfort.

In addition, the cords aren't attached onto the hammock, but come directly from the hammock itself. This is called "Cadejo". This gives the hammock the unique Colombian look and there is up to 30% less chance of the cords breaking.

Larger fabric surface

The dimensions of the fabric are adapted to the height of Western people. For hammocks, the larger the fabric surface, the more comfortable it is to lie in.

The best materials

The fabric of this hammock is made of 70% cotton and 30% polyester and is woven up to 20% thicker.

The cotton combined with the special weaving method makes this Colombian hammock super soft. At the same time, the polyester yarns ensure that the cotton doesn't get stretched too much.

This Colombian hammock can handle a light shower of rain. We advise that you keep the hammock in a dry place when not in use.

Super sturdy metal hammock stand

This is the sturdiest metal hammock stand available. The tubes have an extra large diameter and the special construction provides more stability and can carry extra weight.

You can also easily adjust the 'Arc' with the supplied chains. This allows you to hang many different hammocks in it.

Anti-scratch coating

Thanks to the recently developed metal coating, this stand is resistant to all weather conditions. The coating also makes the stand more resistant to scratches.

Suitable for all Tropilex single hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 290 - 340 cm. The maximum load capacity is 160 kg.

'Arc' Double Hammock Stand
Suitable for all Tropilex double hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 330 - 370 cm. The maximum load capacity is 180 kg.

'Arc' Family Hammock Stand
Suitable for all Tropilex family hammocks and for hammocks with a total length of 360 - 400 cm. The maximum load capacity is 200 kg.
